We have a wonderful Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) opportunity at one of our partner School Districts in Longview, Washington. This position is in-person and full time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized program plans developed by the BCBA, reviewing and consulting for necessary updates.
- Assist teachers and BCBA in supervisory tasks as assigned.
- Assist teachers in administering tests, evaluating, and modifying student work in the context of a lesson.
- Assist BCBA, with behavior assessments, skill acquisition plans, preparing student materials as instructed, and training staff on implementing individualized program plans.
- Support classroom environments by modeling and teaching behavioral strategies to teachers and staff.
- Participate in crisis intervention efforts, including de-escalation strategies, and assist in managing challenging behaviors.
- Contribute to the delivery of services outlined in students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring alignment with behavioral goals.
- Communicate regularly with school teams and, when appropriate, with families to support the generalization of skills across environments.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and supervision sessions to enhance knowledge of evidence-based behavioral practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
- Active CBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a school, clinical, or similar setting (preferred)
- Familiarity with data collection methods and behavior support strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic school environments and maintain professionalism in various situations.
