    At Piece by Piece Autism Centers, our mission is to bring high quality ABA therapy to communities that do not readily have access to services for children with autism.

    We are looking for energetic, creative, and dedicated RBTs to work one-on-one with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism in schools in and around the Plainfield, IN area.

    We offer competitive pay starting at $20.00 per hour based on experience and education. In addition, full time employees also have access to medical insurance through United Healthcare, retirement plans with an up to 4% match, $25,000 employer paid life insurance, dental, vision, short term disability and other supplemental policies through Principal, PTO, and paid re-certification fees.

    Soft skills required for this job include: ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team, great communication, professionalism, patience, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal skills.

    School Based RBT responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Supporting classroom teachers in providing a safe, organized environment for effective learning to occur

    Teaching expressive and receptive communication skills through the use of applied behavior analysis and verbal behavior techniques as outlined in the client's daily lesson plan

    Teaching of daily living skills such as dressing, toileting, hand washing, toothbrushing, feeding, and other hygiene related tasks

    Entering data on teaching trials and behavior goals into Catalyst, an iPad program

    Following individualized behavior plans written by the client's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and IEPs written by the child's interdisciplinary team

    Communicating with teachers, paraprofessionals, and caregivers through objective, data driven notes

    Upholding the Registered Behavior Technician Ethics Code

    Minimum requirements include:

    A high school diploma or GED (per BACB licensure requirements)

    Be at least 18 years of age (per BACB licensure requirements)

    Active RBT certification from the BACB

    Clear background check

    Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (i.e. kneeling, sitting – in both a chair and on the floor, squatting, standing, etc.) for extended periods of time

    Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds

    Preferred skills include:

    Bachelor's degree in a related field

    CPR and First Aid certification

    Safety Care training
