Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers along designated routes while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:

Drive buses along specified routes according to a set time schedule

Ensure the safety of passengers during transit

Assist passengers as needed

Maintain a clean and organized bus interior

Communicate effectively with passengers and respond to inquiries

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus

Qualifications:

Required: Valid Illinois CDL School Bus Endorsement license

Experience: 1+ year of school bus driving experience (required)

Ability to communicate effectively in English (multilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are a plus)

Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with diverse groups of people

Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks is advantageous
