    School Director

    Education and Experience:

    Has minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Center Director in a licensed childcare center.

    Meets State Requirements for a State license as a Center Director, preferably with a non-renewable certificate.

    Bachelor’s degree or appropriate equivalent from an accredited university and 3 years of management experience in a multi-unit environment required (i.e., early childhood education, retail, restaurant, and/or franchise concepts).

    Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training new employees as needed.

    Executes operational strategies for the school to drive success in critical performance categories: enrollment, retention, productivity, quality, customer service and is present in the schools daily, 5 days a week.

    Uses critical thinking to analyze center trends and performance, while providing support to enable centers to thrive.

    Builds high performing teams by creating an environment of trust and rapport with franchisee’s and support school employees.

    Leads the licensing, marketing, and advertising efforts for the school.

    Actively seeks out resources to minimize and resolve problems.

    Proactively addresses concerns, considering the needs and opinions of both internal and external customers.

    Consistently seeks new and innovative ways to improve performance for the school.

    Consistently maintains knowledge of standard operating procedures and childcare licensing regulations.

    Ensures school operates within state requirements and avoids opportunity for risk.

    Effects change required for continual compliance and improvement.

    Manages budget in compliance with franchisee’s guidelines.

    Represents the school to public, community, parents, visitors and staff with professionalism and integrity.

    Foster and maintain excellent community outreach and partnerships.

    Maintains exceptional relationships with enrolled families through written and verbal communication, family events, and positive interactions.

    Attends/conducts meetings and trainings as directed.

    Consistently follows through with all duties and responsibilities as assigned in a competent and timely manner.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $40,000 - $55,000 per year
