🕗 Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 📅 Days: Monday – Friday

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated School Nurse (LPN/RN) to join our team and play an integral role in promoting the health and well-being of students in a supportive school environment. As a School Nurse, you will provide essential care, manage chronic conditions, and ensure the overall health and safety of students throughout the school day.

🩺 Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff, ensuring immediate attention when needed. 🌟 Assess and manage chronic and acute health conditions to ensure students’ physical well-being. 💊 Administer medications and monitor students for side effects, ensuring safe and effective treatment. 📋 Conduct health screenings, manage immunization records, and ensure compliance with health regulations and policies. 📝 Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with medical needs. 🧑‍🏫 Provide health education on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention, and overall wellness. 📚 Maintain accurate, confidential health records for students, ensuring compliance with privacy policies and regulations.

What You’ll Bring:

🎓 License: Current DC LPN or RN license. 📜 Certification: Current BLS (CPR and AED) certification. 👶 Experience: Prior experience in a school setting or pediatric care is preferred. 💬 Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a deep commitment to ensuring the health and safety of students.
