Salary: $20-60/hr SchoolJoy is a global education management and student engagement platform. We are expanding our virtual mentor and tutor platform that services some of the top private and international schools in the U.S. and China. Our unique model allows students to view and schedule directly with you, at your convenience, without the overhead of manually managing your schedule with interested students and parents. Our team is seeking passionate educators, professionals, and graduate students that are willing and eager to support 6th through 12th grade students in their personal and academic development journey. Our offerings include all academic and non-academic subjects, so whether you are a state-certified teacher or a graduate student with deep expertise in a specific subject matter, you are more than welcome to join our growing network of opportunities.

Each opportunity will be unique, and you will have the option to accept or decline the offer based on its payment terms, working hours, delivery format, and institution. The opportunities can range from 1-on-1 meetings with an international student from a different country, to a longer term agreement that may require weekly commitments for the duration of the school year. Our platform not only allows you to set your own rate, but also streamlines payments, scheduling, and conferencing tools to minimize any overhead in the planning process.

To further streamline our interview process, we are adopting a one-way video interview process, which streamlines the ability for schools, students, and parents to quickly review and select the best candidates they wish to work with. This process also drastically reduces the overhead of coordinating multiple interviews by multiple parties.
