Job Description
Scientist, Cell Therapy responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Supports cell therapy group by applying a variety of GMP analytical methodologies for cell therapy products.
· Performs experiments, data processing, and presents results to internal departments and in technical reports.
· Communicates scientific findings, provides status updates on assigned tasks in one-on-one discussions and within the project team and department meetings.
· Contributes to the functions of the laboratory including ordering, organization, chemical and equipment monitoring, and maintenance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess:
· Experience with flow cytometry, miscroscopic technologies e.g. live cell imaging and high-resolution miscroscopy, and droplet digital polymerase chain reaction (ddPCR).
· Experience with cell therapy analytical methods (flow, cell counting, cell size, viability) and cell maturation is required.
· Experience with problem-solving and instrument trouble-shooting
· Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to write and review SOPs, technical reports.
Qualifications
· Bachelor degree in chemistry, biology, or other related degree concentration
· 3 - 6 years of relevant experience
· Understanding of GMP requirements
