With Scoot Education you will be a W-2 employee and have an option for benefits, or a higher salary without benefits. We work with partner charter, public and private schools/districts but offer compensation packages that are often superior to working as an employee of these institutions. Salary for our option including benefits and insurance ($60K - $63K) What our benefits package includes: * Health - Blue Cross and Blue Shield - Zero monthly premium * Short term disability - Zero monthly premium * Long term disability - Zero monthly premium * Life Insurance - Zero monthly premium * Vision and Dental - Less than $70.00 monthly premium * 401K after 1 year Salary for our option with no benefits and insurance ($67K - $70K) A successful Special Education Teacher will: * Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) * Identify the needs of assigned students through formal and informal assessments * Collaborate with general education teachers to utilize appropriate methods of learning delivery and instruction to meet the needs of each student * Prepare timely progress reports for each student * Maintain regular communication with parents by means of email, phone calls, conferences, and progress reports You'll need to provide the following education & licensing requirements: * Bachelor's Degree (required) * AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card * AZ Department of Education Special Education certification About Scoot: * People are our entire reason for being.
