Job Description

Multi-state legal recoveries Firm seeks Lead Attorney to join its Gallatin, TN office. This is a 'hands on' position and an opportunity to maintain an efficient and productive remote office.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and approval of collection claims placed with the Firm
• Representation of clients in civil collection matters within the state.
• Approval and execution of pleadings for timely and consistent case progression
• Regular contact with courts, opposing counsel, and consumers in the management and resolution of cases.
• Docket management including trial preparation, claim prove-up and post-judgment enforcement.
• Appearing at hearings and trials throughout the state
• Aiding in the management and supervision of cases including exception and queue oversight.

Required skills and experience:

• Currently licensed and in good standing with the TN Bar
• Thorough understanding of Tennessee Civil Practice law
• 1-3 years experience in debt collection or substantially similar high volume civil litigation practice
• Dedication to operational excellence
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Disciplined work ethic
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Word and Excel
