    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a dynamic Scrum Master & Lean Manufacturing Specialist to integrate Agile and Lean methodologies into our manufacturing processes. This role requires a certified Scrum Master with extensive experience in Lean manufacturing to lead teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and optimize workflows. You will facilitate Agile practices while applying Lean principles to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall production quality.

    The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of Scrum Master experience and a deep understanding of Lean manufacturing principles. You should be highly skilled in facilitating Agile teams, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and applying Lean tools to streamline production processes. Your ability to foster collaboration and guide teams in adopting both Agile and Lean methodologies will be key to success in this role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Agile Facilitation & Team Leadership:

    • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives) in a manufacturing setting.
    • Remove impediments and resolve conflicts to ensure smooth sprint execution and production flow.
    • Track and manage key Scrum metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to monitor progress.
    • Foster a self-organizing, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
    • Protect teams from external disruptions and ensure focus on sprint goals.

    Lean Manufacturing Implementation:

    • Lead Kaizen events and workshops to identify areas for improvement and drive process efficiency in manufacturing.
    • Implement Lean methodologies to reduce waste and optimize production workflows.
    • Train and mentor production teams in Kaizen and Lean principles, fostering self-sufficiency.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving to address operational challenges in the manufacturing process.
    • Develop and maintain KPI goals to measure and track continuous improvement efforts.

    Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, operations, procurement, and quality control, to ensure alignment with continuous improvement goals.
    • Audit production processes to ensure adherence to standardized operating models and Lean practices.
    • Research and apply cross-functional process improvements, integrating Agile and Lean methodologies across teams.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, opportunities, and challenges in the production process.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field.
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
    • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred).
    • 3-5 years of experience in both Scrum Master and Lean manufacturing roles.
    • Proven track record in leading Agile teams and driving Lean initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in root cause analysis.

    Skills:

    • Expertise in Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence) and Lean tools (5S, value stream mapping, root cause analysis).
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams.
    • Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment focused on both product development and process optimization.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
