    Essential Duties And Responsibilities

    • Assist in the day to day repair issues at various transit agencies.
    • Conducts routine preventative maintenance of video surveillance equipment on client’s bus or rail fleet
    • Provide hardware / software training and support to transit authorities and OEM’s.
    • Represent the company to build better customer relations with transit authorities and OEM’s.
    • Provide technical support for Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing & Customer Service during installation and testing of demo equipment and during transit conferences.
    • Good communication skills, including ability to clearly document field modifications data, test reports, & trip reports.
    • Support warranty and non-warranty retrofits via the installation and troubleshooting of products and systems on new and existing buses.
    • Intermittent domestic travel (25% as required) for warranty and non-warranty repair work, retrofits, startups, and troubleshooting.
    • Ability to comfortably manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
    • Ability to troubleshoot basic electronic operations and make sound technical decisions.
    • Must be able to calmly work with customers during demanding situations.
    • Must be able to work day time and night time hours as required by the work.  
    Education And/or Experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • A combination of one to three years of directly related training and/or experience
    • Professional license or related training helpful
    • A+ certification strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated success self-managing assigned work
    • Familiarity with automotive wiring – DC, low voltage, etc.
    • Demonstrated ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams
    • Expertise with electrical systems, use of voltmeter and other tools
    • Experience testing and recording voltages
    • Experience using small tools or hand tools
    • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills – electrical systems, software and hardware
    • Proficient with computer applications, including experience working within Excel spreadsheets and other programs that may be used in documenting work performed
    • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, follow directions and procedures, and can make decisions about assigned work without direct supervision
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
