    Job Description

    At SearchSpring, our technology helps over 600 retailers across 10+ retail verticals create engaging shopping experiences for their customers. Our platform provides retailers with the tools to make their marketing/merchandising teams more effective, deliver a contextually relevant customer shopping experience across all devices, and empowers employees across all departments with actionable insights.

    The Role of Technical Support Engineer We are looking for a technical support engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers.

    You will troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve customer issues which pertain to our service.

    Responsibilities include resolving frontend UI issues, data acquisition systems, search relevancy issues, account configurations, and more. Additionally, you will work directly with the customer success, integrations, product and engineering teams to help analyze, address, and resolve various customer issues.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree, Bootcamp graduate, or equivalent
    • Ability to work core hours and provide after hours support
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
    • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
    • HTML, Javascript, CSS, Javascript
    • Excellent communication abilities

    Nice to have:

    • Proven work experience as a technical support engineer or similar role
    • Familiarity with help desk software (eg. ZenDesk)
    • PHP
    • Experience with AngularJS, React, Vue, or similar frameworks
    • Ecommerce platform experience (Shopify, BigCommere, Magento, Volusion, MIVA)
