    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a friendly and motivated Seasonal Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Sebastian Vail. This position plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle a variety of situations with professionalism and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide personalized service throughout their stay.
    - Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is collected and verified.
    - Answer guests' inquiries regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.

    - Maintain clear and effective communication with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and sales.
    - Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.

    - Manage room reservations and maintain accurate records using the hotel management software.
    - Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed.
    - Prepare and distribute reports as required by management.

    - Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff by following hotel policies and procedures.
    - Respond appropriately to emergencies and keep the front desk area organized and secure.

    - Inform guests about hotel promotions and upsell additional services, such as dining, spa treatments, and activities.
    - Encourage feedback from guests to continuously improve service levels.

    Qualifications:

    - High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
    - Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is a plus but not required.
    - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    - Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
    - Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software; familiarity with [specific software, if applicable] is a plus.
    - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.

    Physical Requirements:

    - Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
    - Must be able to perform repetitive tasks (e.g., typing, answering phones).
