Seasonal Innkeeper – Blind Tiger Guest House (Portland, ME) Onsite Living Available | 5 Days/Week | West End Blind Tiger Guest House in Portland’s beautiful historic West End, is seeking a seasonal innkeeper to join our small, inclusive, and tight-knit team. This role is ideal for a hospitality-minded individual who enjoys creating welcoming experiences for guests while maintaining the charm and individuality of our unique property. This role will mainly consist of opening, breakfast preparation/display, guest assistance & housekeeping. Typical shifts will be 7am-3pm with flexibility for evening shifts of 10am-6pm. Responsibilities: • Maintain common spaces including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms • Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed • Respond to general inquiries from guests • Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel’s standards before guests arrive • Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed • Breakfast preparation and display: Set up and present our daily breakfast spread. • Guest Services Assist with reservations, check-ins/outs, and in-person guest requests. Qualifications: • Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills • Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques • Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent • At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred Compensation: $18 hourly plus tips
