    Key Details:

    • Pay: $105,000 - $120,000/year DOE
    • Location: DaVinci Digital’s office is located at Urban Office (4949 S. Macadam – Portland, OR) * This role will split time working from home, the office, and client sites in the Portland area.
    • Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday (8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Pacific Time)

    Who You Are: You are a technical expert with a strong focus on customer service. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, resolving complex issues and offering proactive solutions.     Additional qualifications include:

    • Five (5) years of experience in an IT consulting/MSP role or seven (7) years of experience as a system administrator.
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, or similar field preferred or equivalent experience.
    • ITIL Expert Certification Path or equivalent technical training related to cybersecurity
    • Experience with:
      • Windows server/desktop OS troubleshooting and security best practices
      • Cloud-based storage solutions and file sharing, and related security practices
      • Security consulting and audit processes (SOC2, ISO, NIST)
      • Environment security assessment and remediation
    • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks based on urgency
    • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service standards
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

    What You’ll Do: As a Security Consulting Engineer, you’ll act as a security authority for DaVinci Digital consulting, reviewing current published threats, assessing viability and providing technical writing that is published internally and then externally to clients. You will focus on the development of services and processes to assess, manage, and mitigate the security of all DaVinci clients. The compliance ranges from IT best practice to security compliance certifications (e.g. TPN, SOC, NIST, and ISO Series). You’ll work closely with the Director of Technology for the purpose of keeping both DaVinci Digital and our client’s IT infrastructures secured from threats. This includes development of policy, communications, and automations utilizing DaVinci’s RMM tool set.

    Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Works on-site at client’s location (as needed and where practical)
    • Assists with Helpdesk requests based on needs, with a focus on security, but may work varying ticket types
    • Make recommendations and remediation plans related to client infrastructure
    • Manage systems and process with DaVinci clients and client account team(s) to bring DaVinci clients up to security standards
    • Work on security projects that assess DaVinci Client environments for multiple security compliance requirements
    • Work with security compliance auditors interfacing between the auditor and the client to make sure the client passes security compliance audits
    • Review published security vulnerabilities, asses their viability and coordinate with Director of Technology on response plan
    • Publish internal technical writing to fellow Engineers on security vulnerabilities and then provide client-facing technical writing for security bulletins.
