The Crowne Plaza is looking for an individual for this position who will create a positive impression for arriving and departing guests. The successful candidate will be professional, courteous, and welcoming, able to interact appropriately and sensitively with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and personalities. Our guests visit Baton Rouge for a range of reasons, and this position must be skilled in easily adapting to the unique requirements of each guest. • Greet guests upon arrival and assist them to their rooms. • Load and unload luggage onto carts and transport to and from guest rooms, as well as meeting rooms. • Provide guests with information about the hotel services and amenities, as well as dining, shopping, and entertainment options. • Bellman/Security personnel also attend the main entrance door, greet guests, and arrange and manage transfers. This position provides the first and last impression of the hotel. • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area. Assist with luggage storage and retrieval. Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage. Supply guests with directions. Responsibilities: • Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property within the premises. • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with their luggage and inquiries. • Monitor and control access points to the hotel, verifying guests' identification when necessary. • Respond promptly to any emergencies or disturbances on the property. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the hotel premises. Qualifications: Qualified Candidates will possess the following: • Valid Louisiana Driver's License. • Record free from traffic violations. • Driving Experience of a minimum of 9 years. • Professional Appearance. • Professional Verbal Communication Skills. Compensation: $13 - $15 hourly
