Job Description

Our Security Guards are the first point of contact with our customers and vendors. This position is responsible for securing all gates and buildings, making hourly rounds, directing deliveries to correct locations, and assisting in distribution of manifests.

• Ensuring that all gates and entrances are always closed and secured
• Checking in delivery drivers and vendors
• Liaison with Transportation and Operations for directing of load deliveries
• Maintaining accurate information regarding location of loads in the plant
• Hourly rounds of the property, including operations buildings
• Transporting paperwork and copies between the front office and delivery drivers
• Maintain an accurate log of all entries to and exits from the plant
• Signing manifest and dispersing them to the Drivers
• Accepting packages and delivering them to the proper people
• Escorting Visitors to appropriate locations and/or meeting area
• Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in security
