Join our team as a Security Officer and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff at Local area Healthcare Facility. With a strong focus on customer service, you will provide a safe and secure environment while upholding institutional policies. Note: This position does not have the authority to make arrests.

• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing directions and general information to patients, visitors, and staff in accordance with established policies. Address and resolve customer service challenges professionally and promptly.
• Conduct routine security rounds to enforce safety and security policies, identify hazards, and report violations as necessary.
• Use two-way radios to communicate emergencies and maintain situational awareness.
• Escort patients, visitors, or staff within the institution as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Monitor hospital property, noting suspicious behaviors and protecting personnel and equipment, including vehicles on hospital grounds.

Qualifications
Education & Experience – Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
Licensure / Certification – Required

• Valid State Driver's License with less than 3 points.
Education & Experience – Preferred

• Maryland Security Guard Card (or ability to achieve within 90 days).

Compensation
• Pay Range: $17.00–$23.33/hour
