    Job Summary:

    The Overnight Rover/Parking Enforcement Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of designated properties during night hours. The officer will patrol multiple locations, enforce parking regulations, and provide a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activities. This position requires individuals to be observant, proactive, and able to handle security incidents calmly and professionally.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Patrol Duties:

    Conduct frequent and random vehicle and foot patrols across assigned properties (commercial, residential, or mixed-use).

    Respond to any alarms, security breaches, or suspicious activities and provide immediate assistance.

    Parking Enforcement:

    Monitor parking areas to ensure vehicles are parked in designated spaces and comply with property parking regulations.

    Issue warnings, citations, or arrange for towing of vehicles violating parking rules.

    Maintain accurate logs of violations, citations, and other enforcement actions taken during the shift.

    Incident Reporting:

    Report any suspicious activity, damage, or security concerns to the appropriate authorities or management.

    Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and parking enforcement logs.

    Communicate and escalate any serious issues to the Security Supervisor or local law enforcement as needed.

    Customer Service:

    Provide assistance and direction to tenants, employees, and visitors when necessary.

    Respond to customer inquiries about parking regulations or security concerns in a polite and professional manner.

    Emergency Response:

    Respond to emergencies, such as accidents, medical incidents, or fire alarms, according to company protocols.

    Assist first responders and emergency personnel as needed.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or GED equivalent.

    Valid FL driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

    Valid security guard D license is required.

    Must be at least 25 years old for this position.

    Previous experience in security, parking enforcement, or law enforcement is preferred but not required.

    Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    Excellent communication and observation skills.

    Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

    Basic computer skills for report writing and logging incidents.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand, walk, or drive for extended periods.

    Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
