Job Description:
As a Security Guard - Rover/Patrol, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, employees, and assets. You will be responsible for conducting routine foot patrols to deter unauthorized access, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security incidents as needed. This position requires a vigilant and proactive individual who can effectively communicate and take appropriate action to maintain a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Foot Patrol: Conduct regular foot patrols of assigned areas, including parking lots, building perimeters, and other designated locations.
Security Monitoring: Observe and report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches. Take immediate action to address issues as per company protocols.
Access Control: Verify the identity of individuals seeking access to secured areas, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter the premises.
Emergency Response: Respond to alarms, emergencies, or incidents promptly and effectively. Maintain composure during high-stress situations and follow established procedures.
Documentation: Accurately and thoroughly document all security-related incidents, activities, and observations in daily logs and reports.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with supervisors, fellow security personnel, and client representatives.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries, directions, and general information.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of security equipment such as radios, access control systems, and surveillance cameras.
Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations governing security operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
State-issued security guard license.
Prior security experience preferred but not required.
Strong observation and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
Basic computer skills for report writing and incident documentation.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
