    Job Summary

    Join our team as a Security Operations Supervisor! The Security Operations Supervisor must be confident, professional and experienced! This is a hands-on position that supervises all activities of the Security Staff and assists with overseeing Security operations and functions. Assist with managing the Security Staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Conduct training, prepare schedules, monitor and assess security personnel's conduct and behavior. Must have knowledge and understanding of local, state and federal laws in regards to security and law enforcement. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask, have strong leadership and management skills with demonstrated experience in the safety, security and law enforcement career fields. Must have the ability to speak, write and communicate in English, effectively. Have the desire and ability to provide outstanding quality service, demonstrate excellent standards, professionalism and can work well as part of a team. Possess a State of Texas DPS Class "G" Security license; have CPR, First Aid and AED certifications or the ability to obtain immediately. Must have a minimum of three years previous Security Operations supervisory experience or equivalent, excellent time management skills, good driving record and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

    Responsibilities

    Supervise all activities of the Security Staff and coordinate with Law Enforcement Officers as needed to ensure a professional relationship between the Law Enforcement and Security Staff

    Must be able to assess problem areas and formulate solutions to problems and issues, timely and professionally

    Assist with developing and implementing safety and security policies and procedures

    Conduct new Security Staff member orientation including Company policies and procedures

    Conduct periodic inspections of Security Staff, equipment, vehicles and Security Operations inventory

    Designate and schedule Security Staff for Site assignments; ensure all schedules are confirmed, Sites are filled and monitor Security Staff's time and reports

    Train Security Staff to patrol the properties appropriately and how to prepare/document reports

    Ensure Security Staff's certifications are current and conduct individual/monthly training as required

    Assist with creating security procedures/implement procedures for specific events

    Review incident reports created by Security Staff; receive, analyze and respond appropriately to incident reports/complaints

    Address potential/actual security risks and issues; assist with resolving security breaches/incidents

    Assist with administering projects and ensure satisfactory completion and compliance

    Able to think/work clearly and responsibly in a fast -paced environment and make rapid and appropriate decisions

    Promptly notify the Assistant Security Operations Manager, Security Operations Manager, or other higher Management Staff of important incidents, delays, compliance issues, completion of assigned duties, security risks, and/or client concerns

    Approximately 40% travel required

    All other duties assigned

    Qualifications

    Minimum of 3 years experience as a Security Operations Supervisor, Site Lead Security Supervisor or in a similar role

    Three to five years prior experience in Security, Law Enforcement or Military preferred

    Familiarity with security technology and equipment (cameras, alarms, CCTV, etc.)

    Understanding of best practices in security protocols, knowledge and understanding of local, state and federal laws regarding security

    Thorough knowledge of and experience with safety and emergency response planning and actions

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications

    Ability to speak, write legible and document reports clearly; also able to listen and communicate effectively

    Ability to work independently, a self-starter, energetic and possess excellent attention to detail

    High level of integrity, excellent leadership and management skills and professionalism

    Strong communication, interpersonal skills and advanced customer service skills

    Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

    Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident or possess a valid work authorization

    Must be at least 18 years of age, have reliable transportation and a working cell phone

    Associates Degree or 5 - 7 years training, knowledge, and experience equivalent
