Position: Electronic Security Service Technician
Compensation: $26-$33 hourly (dependent on starting experience and interview performance). Potential for a small pay bump after the initial 90-day period (not guaranteed).

We are a leading electronic security service provider in the Baltimore region, serving clients from government agencies, schools, hospitals, and businesses. We are looking for a qualified and motivated Electronic Security Service Technician to join our team and provide excellent service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and Commissioning: Install, program, test, and commission access control and CCTV systems according to manufacturer and customer specifications.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on existing systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with access control and CCTV systems using various tools and equipment.
- Customer Communication: Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, documenting all work performed and materials used.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety rules and regulations and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the electronic security industry, preferably with access control and CCTV systems. Certifications are a plus but not required.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Ability to travel within the Baltimore region and occasionally beyond.
- Technical Knowledge: Certification or in-depth knowledge of access control and CCTV systems from manufacturers such as AMAG, Avigilon, Bosch, DSC, Honeywell, etc., or willingness to obtain them. Fire alarm experience is a bonus.
- Skills: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, customer-oriented mindset, ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals. Basic proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet).
