    Job Description

    The role of a Security Systems Integration Engineer plays a crucial role in Final engineering and implementation of simple to complex Security Management Systems (SMS), the ability to understand complex system architectures and come up with creative solutions and performing analysis of new and existing products and making recommendations based on those findings.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and solution architects to design and implement complex security and technology integrations, which may include access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and more.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to system integration, ensuring that all systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, integration processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
    • Perform system testing and quality assurance to ensure that integrations meet client requirements and Convergint Federal | SigNet Technologies' standards.
    • Train client personnel on the operation and maintenance of integrated systems, providing them with the knowledge to maximize the benefits of the solutions.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that you are well-informed about the latest advances in security and technology systems.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and customer support, to deliver integrated solutions that exceed client expectations.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Industry specifics
      • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with Access Control, Physical Security, Intrusion Detection and Video Management Systems.
      • At a minimum, hands on experience with Lenel, Software House and AMAG access control systems
      • At a minimum, hands on experience with Pelco, American Dynamics, and Milestone video management systems.
      • At a minimum, hands on experience with PivCLASS or Innometriks Card access and enrollment systems.
      • Experience designing, implanting, and integrating complex applications such as Access Control, Video Management Systems, and Intercoms
      • Knowledge of HSPD-12
      • Reading, interpreting, and drawing electrical and architectural building plans (blueprints).
      • Use of various industry standard electronic test equipment such as meters, LANalyzer, and scopes.
    • IT Specifics
      • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working with Servers, PC’s, and Network Equipment.
      • Must have experience working with various operating systems, such as Microsoft window platforms and Linux
      • Must have experience working with various Database technologies such as Microsoft SQL, My SQL, and Oracle.
      • Experience implementing and designing small to mid-sized routed networks
      • Must have experience working with Cisco, Juniper, or HP

    Education: Associates or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics Technology, or similar discipline. Experience and/or military training can be considered in lieu of the degree accompanied by other desired certifications such as CSEIP, PSP, CPP, MCSE, and various security manufacturing certifications.

    Other Preferred Knowledge: Network Security

    General Experience: The individual shall also have at least three (3) years of current experience in conducting technical security system integration

    Certification:

    Certifications such as CCNA or MCSA/MCSE is a plus but not required. Desired active manufacturer certificates such as Lenel, Software House, Identiv, AMAG, DAQ, PivCLASS etc. are a plus as well.

    Requirements

    • Willingness to travel to client sites globally, including international destinations, to oversee integration projects and provide on-site technical expertise.

    • Security Clearances: This position may require a security clearance. The clearance requirements are determined by the agency(s) in which you are assigned.     Additional Information

    Salary Range: $115K-$140K
