    Job Description

    The Security Systems Service Technician should be proficient in the troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and programming of access control panels, door position switches, various types of card readers, sensors, analog and IP cameras, VMS systems, intercoms, turnstiles, anti-tailgating devices, electrified door hardware, and the termination of electrical and data wiring, including:

    Actively servicing and troubleshooting security systems, including IP cameras, access control devices, electrified door hardware, video management and recording appliances, intercoms, low-voltage systems, and other various security equipment.

    Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining security systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

    Conduct system inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.

    Troubleshoot and repair electrified door hardware, ensuring seamless integration with security systems.

    Utilize hand tools and power tools to service and replace equipment following relevant codes and manufacturer specifications.

    Diagnose, test, and repair circuits, sensors, and components following wiring and system specifications.

    Install, test, and replace backup batteries, program keypads, troubleshoot sirens, and verify proper system operation.

    Provide technical support to clients, assisting with system operation, user training, and troubleshooting guidance.
