Role: Security and Network Architect

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience in design and deployment of AWS infrastructure running workloads, leveraging most of the AWS features and functions.
- Experience in design and deployment AWS infrastructure that supports distributed workloads on public and private/on-prem clouds.
- Experience in design and deployment AWS infrastructure that supports workload security from layer 3 to layer 7 attacks.
- Excellent understanding of AWS Networking and Identity & Access Management
- Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP etc).
- Familiarity with encryption technologies, PKI, and TLS/SSL.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication skills with the willingness to collaborate with cross-functional departments and teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with network and security tools such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper, Check Point, etc.
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), NAC, DLP.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including risk management, threat modeling, and attack surface reduction.
- Proficiency in automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) for network and security tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and support teams deploying their workloads
- Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on networking and security related configuration on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Use prior knowledge and creativity to troubleshoot and solve technical issues as they arise.
- Provide guidance to team working on IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
