    Job Description: Amazing U Community Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist individuals with daily living activities, promote independence, and foster a positive, inclusive environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist individuals with daily living activities (personal care, meal preparation, transportation, etc.).

    Support individuals in social, recreational, and vocational activities to promote community engagement.

    Ensure the safety, well-being, and dignity of individuals at all times.

    Provide medication reminders and assist with health-related tasks as needed.

    Record and document the care provided in accordance with company and state regulations.

    Help individuals work toward personal goals and foster greater independence.

    Collaborate with team members, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.

    Maintain a positive, respectful, and empathetic attitude when working with individuals.

    Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent (required).

    Previous experience in direct care, healthcare, or related fields is a plus.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    Ability to lift and assist individuals when necessary.

    Must pass background checks and drug screenings.

    Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

    Empathy, patience, and a passion for making a difference in others' lives.

    Preferred:

    Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a residential setting.

    Knowledge of person-centered planning.
