    Job Summary:

    The Benefits Analyst provides HR analytical support in administering policies and programs in associate benefits. This role will be an integral part of the Benefit Team, highly focused on data driven projects and audits. The Benefits Analyst will be focused on enrollment reconciliation of all plans, medical, dental, vision, disability plans, and retirement.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the monthly benefits reconciliation process for all plan billing.
    • Reviews and audits associate data in benefit plan systems to ensure data accuracy and work with vendors to correct data errors and omissions;
    • Responsible for accurate set up and processes 401k retirement plan contributions and 401k loans on a day to day basis
    • Leads communication of benefits payroll change process, partners with benefit team members and payroll team to ensure payroll impacting changes are communicated in a timely fashion and ensures accuracy
    • Support vendor file management and issue resolution
    • Analyzes data via Excel and ongoing auditing (payroll, 401k, HSA variances, etc.)
    • Responsible for weekly vendor files for accuracy and ensures data is audited
    • Assist with annual processes such as ACA coding, annual open enrollment planning and 401k plan audit
    • Responsible for all benefit metrics reporting
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Skills/Abilities:

    • Analytical comfortable building models, analyzing data, interpreting data, and evaluating trends.
    • Organized, Efficient and Accountable – have an eye for detail and re-prioritizing accordingly to meet deadlines.
    • Flexible and able to juggle the needs of changing priorities of the business
    • Technology Savvy- Deep knowledge of Excel along with utilizing multiple reporting functions from vendor platforms
    • Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree required
    • 5+ years of Benefits experience required , billing reconciliation experience
    • Strong knowledge and experience with Excel
    • Experience with UKG or similar HR Systems in area of benefit administration preferred
