    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Senior Vice President, Business Process will lead, develop and execute a plan to enhance communication, structure, individual performance, process, analytics, and the ultimate output between the SelectQuote Business Units and SelectQuote Application Development functions such as BI, ETL and Data Science. The role will work hand in hand with each business unit leader and IT leadership in an effort to achieve SelectQuote's business operational strategy. The role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The Role is of critical importance to SelectQuote and will help shape our business operational strategy as we move forward.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Enhance processes between business and technology to improve efficiency on application development
    • Manage team to provide analytics on performance of application development projects
    • Manage and assist business on Product Owner Identification and Training requirements
    • Provide score carding of each role in the Software Development Lifecycle process to understand breakpoints, redundancies, performance issues, etc.
    • Provide constant tracking of application development hours submitted vs available resources
    • Provide progress reporting dashboard of each project
    • Create grade card process for each project in terms of accuracy on projected hours' vs outcome and identify breakpoints by role
    • Work with business to establish basic ROI submission process as well as post-mortems on Actuals vs. Forecasted ROI
    • Establish a project gating process with the business before going to IT solutions development
    • Backend grade card on ROI vs actual performance (I coupled this above but no difference)
    • Partner with business and IT to understand process issues and how to improve process
    • The role will chair the IT executive steering committee and report to the executive team on all progress and action from the committee
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
    • Owns application development prioritization and resourcing for each business unit

    REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Ability to solve routine or complicated problems effectively and drive projects to successful completion.
    • Strong business acumen and ability to drive partnerships and consensus across a wide group of constituents
    • Aptitude to develop partnerships with teams within the department and across the company.
    • Ability to compose and present comprehensive reports.
    • Proficient at planning, organizing and presenting training activities to diverse employee groups.
    • Comfortable with authoring many types of documents, including agendas, action/project plans, and presentations.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, information systems, computer science or related degrees. Master's degree is a plus.
    • 10+ years of business process leadership experience with some experience specific to technology process and integration.
    • Strong analytical background
    • Strong Finance and P&L background
    • Some technology process and integration experience at large or medium sized companies
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Experience leading Organizational Change Management activities at large or medium sized companies

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
