As a Selfie Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our visitors have a memorable and enjoyable experience at our selfie-themed attraction. You will be responsible for maintaining the overall operations, assisting our customers with their selfie-taking needs, and creating a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a passion for photography and social media.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Assistance:
- Greet customers upon arrival and provide a warm and friendly welcome.
- Assist customers in understanding the various unique selfie stations, props, and backdrops available.
- Offer guidance and suggestions for capturing the best selfies based on individual preferences.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various picture-taking techniques, filters, and camera settings.
2. Facility Operations:
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the selfie zones, props, and backdrops at all times.
- Regularly inspect all equipment, lighting, and digital screens to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise with cameras, lighting, or digital displays.
- Restock and organize any necessary supplies, such as props and signage.
3. Safety and Security:
- Monitor customer behavior and enforce safety procedures, maintaining a safe environment for all visitors.
- Observe selfie-taking activities to prevent any potential accidents or misuse of props.
- Respond promptly and professionally to any customer concerns or emergencies.
- Familiarize yourself with emergency protocols and assist in evacuations if necessary.
4. Social Media and Marketing Support:
- Encourage visitors to share their experiences on social media platforms by highlighting hashtags and promoting tagging of the Selfie WRLD account.
- Take high-quality and attractive photos of visitors with their permission, adhering to privacy policies.
- Assist in capturing and creating engaging content for the Selfie WRLD website, social media, and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; photography or creative arts education preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a creative eye for composing appealing photos.
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
