So, what will the Seminar Instructor at Terrestris do?
The ** Seminar Instructor** is responsible for leading seminars in subjects like Literacy (English/Arabic), General Education (Horticulture, Nutrition, Life Skills), and Arts and Crafts. The role also includes librarian duties, such as managing and organizing library materials, assisting with database management, and researching new acquisitions. Additionally, the instructor will be responsible for translating and summarizing materials from Arabic to English, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
What does a typical day look like for a Seminar Instructor?
A Seminar Instructor's day is dynamic. The role involves preparing and teaching seminars in subjects like literacy, general education, and arts and crafts. The instructor engages students in interactive lessons, provides feedback, and assesses progress. During breaks or non-teaching hours, they assist with library duties, such as organizing materials, managing the database, and researching new acquisitions. Additionally, the instructor may translate or summarize Arabic materials into English. The day ends with administrative tasks, including updating student records and preparing for the next day's seminars.

The Seminar Instructor shall be fluent in Arabic, English, and Pashto at a minimum, and shall possess a SECRET Security Clearance. The Seminar Instructor shall read, write, and speak Arabic and Pashto with a fluent or native level of proficiency as evidenced by their resume.
