Position: Payroll and Benefits Specialist

Location: Manchester, Richmond, VA(onsite) 

Terms: Contract to Hire or Direct Hire

Compensation: 60-75k FTE

We are seeking an energetic and driven professional experienced with payroll and benefits processing to work on a rapidly growing HR team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the payroll process for 250+ organization within set timeframes to meet associate and payroll needs
• Assist with the benefits process for the organization
• Manage expense reimbursement for the associate base
• Maintain appropriate and accurate reporting in support of compensation
• Support the reporting and alignment to the Human Resources budget
• Create reports on payroll and benefits
• Work directly with associates and clients as needed to address and resolve issues
• Process benefits enrollments and changes
• Support benefits administration with audits and reconciliation

Qualifications

• 1+ years proven experience in payroll position in a fast-paced environment
• 1+ years of experience with corporate benefits
• Knowledge of tax and wage laws across state
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree or Associate's degree in business or accounting preferred
