Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic team in NYC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project budgets, and ensuring the successful delivery and installation of projects. This role requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of retail design and fabrication processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
Understand client needs and expectations, providing strategic advice to enhance their projects.
Project Management:
Oversee all phases of project development from initial concept through to completion and installation.
Collaborate with internal teams, including design, production, and installation, to ensure alignment with client objectives.
Budget Control:
Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring profitability and adherence to financial goals.
Identify and mitigate financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Delivery and Installation:
Coordinate the logistics of project delivery and installation, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation phase, ensuring client satisfaction.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting, including budgets, timelines, and project milestones.
Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on project progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in account management, project management, or a related role within the retail design and fabrication industry.
Strong understanding of retail design processes and fabrication techniques.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client-focused approach.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
