Our client is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance and accounting team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Senior Accountant will play an integral role in managing complex accounting operations, consolidations, and financial reporting. What You’ll Do:
- Review and analyze month-end closing and consolidation activities for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct monthly analysis of balance sheet reconciliations and consolidated financial statements.
- Assist in developing appropriate accounting treatments for complex and unique transactions.
- Maintain and manage debt schedules, providing necessary financial reports and analyses to financial institutions.
- Provide support on property tax matters and prepare relevant documentation for the annual audit and review process.
- Collaborate in gathering and providing data for annual tax return preparation.
- Develop, refine, and document standard financial and accounting processes.
- Take part in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
What They're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate accounting environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in public accounting in the U.S. is preferred.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience with consolidated financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
