A well established utility provider is looking for a Senior General Accountant to round out their 8 person team. The accountant will focus on reconciling accounts, completing month end close and preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations for the company and some of their subsidiaries. There will be a healthy mix of accounting and analysis work, including cash flow reports. 

Must Have Skills

• Strong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting
• Past experience in a regulated environment (SEC, FERC)
• Ability to contribute to all parts of month, quarter and year end close 

Nice to Have Skills

• CPA or past experience working in a public accounting firm
