Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team onsite in Fort Worth, TX. This role offers a clear career path with growth into the Controller position. Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing the fiscal operations of the company, including accounting, finance, job costing, analysis, compliance, and office management.

What You’ll Do

Organizational Fiscal Functions

• Assist the Controller in planning and implementing fiscal procedures.
• Produce timely and accurate financial reports, budgets, and analyses.
• Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Oversee inventory controls and procedures to ensure accurate material cost records.
• Manage daily and monthly internal controls over cash activity.

Customer Service/Relations

• Communicate with customers regarding billing and collections issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers to receive and record invoices and process timely vendor payments.

Compliance

• Collaborate with external accounting firms on federal taxation matters.
• Ensure compliance with state franchise, sales, and payroll tax regulations.

Risk Management

• Evaluate and manage insurance programs to protect company assets while minimizing costs.

Additional Responsibilities

• Contribute to policy development and organizational effectiveness.
• Oversee HR functions such as payroll changes, new employee onboarding, insurance, and 401K enrollments.
• Serve as a credible and effective problem-solver across the organization.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA path highly preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including ERP manufacturing systems.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with outside audit firms.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
