Title: Senior Accountant
Department: Finance and Accounting
Reports To: CFO
Scope of Position
The Senior Accountant is responsible for a variety of accounting responsibilities including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales Taxes and financial and costing analytics. This position is full-time, year-round.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the bank deposits review and reconciliations and entries in accounting system for accounts receivable.
Sending out statements and handling past due accounts for accounts receivables.
Following up on outstanding accounts.
Generate a weekly report detailing each past-due account, and the status of the communication with the customer.
Overseeing daily entry to the Sales Report spreadsheets including reconciliation of differences and issues.
Responsible for Sales Tax maintenance, review, collection and processing.
Maintaining pricing
Tracking and entering new items.
Creating new catalog SKU numbers in systems
Matching Invoices with receiving paperwork and entering into accounts payable.
Processing payments in accounts payable.
Setting up new vendors and tracking vendors for 1099 compliance and year end issuance of 1099 forms.
Analysis of costing and pricing.
Create and run reports for analysis and reporting.
Inventory maintenance and management. Will help with store transfers, work orders and other inventory data entry.
Daily and weekly processing of reports and updates in the software.
Member of the Recall Team.
Any other duties, and assist in other departments, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Must have excellent communication skills
Must be able to multi-task, and prioritize daily duties.
College Degree required, preferably in accounting
Experience in accounting – 5 years with an accounting degree, 10 years without one
