    Job Title: Senior Accountant

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the month-end close process, cash management, financial analysis, and budget preparation. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Month-End Close: 
      • Execute and manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
      • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and other adjustments.
      • Perform detailed account reconciliations.
    • Cash Management: 
      • Manage daily cash receipts and disbursements.
      • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts.
      • Ensure accurate and timely cash flow reporting.
    • Financial Analysis: 
      • Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain deviations from budget and forecasts.
      • Perform trend analysis to identify key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
      • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to management.
    • Budgeting & Forecasting: 
      • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
      • Develop and maintain budget models and forecasts.
      • Compare actuals to budgets, and provide explanations for variances.
    • Reconciliations: 
      • Perform various account reconciliations, including balance sheet account, bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations.
      • Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
    • ERP System Management: 
      • Utilize and maintain ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) to ensure accurate financial data.
      • Assist with system implementations and upgrades as needed.
    • Ad hoc projects as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management.
    • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive general accounting experience, with a mix of public and corporate accounting preferred.
    • CPA certification preferred or actively pursuing certification (eligible to sit for the CPA exam).
    • Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Advanced excel skills.
    • Position is hybrid: in office 3 days a week

    $95,000 per year
