Term: Full-time/direct-hire
Location: 5 days a week onsite in Vernon, CA
Benefits: 120,000 - 145,000 base salary DOE + Full range of comprehensive benefits + company culture that values teamwork, collaboration, and employee development.

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of direct report accountants.
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insightful reports to management.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist with audits (internal and external) and tax compliance.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments across the organization.
• Leverage NetSuite to streamline accounting processes and reporting (a significant plus).

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• 6-7+ years of professional accounting experience overall.
• 2-3+ years of experience in a management role, directly leading and developing accounting professionals.
• 2-3+ years of experience with inventory accounting, and/or retail sales/revenue accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
