    We are currently staffing for an Administrative Specialist, Senior in the Acquisition Integration Programs Directorate (AQX)

    AQX provides expert advice and integrated acquisition positions to the Service Acquisition Executive (SAE), AF leadership, PEOs and Program Managers (PMs) on planning, programming, budgeting, execution, and acquisition oversight/reporting for AF acquisition programs. Serves as the SAF/AQ focal point for urgent needs, requirements, program integration, Earned Value Management, affordability, business tool, policy, and acquisition reform initiatives. Functions as the Air Force Corporate Structure process expert and directly supports AF/A8P as the RDT&E Panel. Provides expert and integrated advice on a wide breadth of Defense Industrial Base activities such as overseeing AF government-owned/contractor-operated industrial plants, developing AF leadership industry engagements packages supporting Defense Production Act (DPA) activities and analyzing industrial base risks. Develops and implements tools, training, and policy related to AF acquisition management, reporting, structure, and execution. Serves as the acquisition domain functional chief information officer developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture, data strategy, and business information technology plans. Manages the SAF/AQ portfolio of business systems that supports the acquisition enterprise. Establishes integrated life cycle acquisition policy and guidance for AF systems and services. Monitors and assess changes to the acquisition process and structure resulting from legislation, regulation, or initiatives and integrates into AF acquisition policy. Supports audit readiness and self-inspection by providing process, tools, and policy that ensure a single coherent, integrated, and synchronized implementation of acquisition requirements.

    This position provides office administrative support for over 30 SAF/AQX staff members (Government civilians and contractors).

     

    *This position is currently telework eligible, with on-site work 3-4 days per week.

    The tasks for this position include:

    • Performing administrative duties, such as directorate and lead calendars and phone lists, executing government administrative policies, greeting visitors, and answering phones.
    • Assist in coordinating relationships with stakeholders at all levels for the directorate (for example – phone and in person exchanges, managing the directorate workflow email, manage the directorate Teams/SharePoint or other external facing application, website, or social media as appropriate). Regularly interface with OSD, the other military deputies, and Fourth Estate.
    • Setting-up and maintaining required records and directorate file plan/records management, creating, editing, and maintaining SharePoint databases as well as maintaining MS-TEAMs channels, online data management and data access.
    • Assist as needed in the facilitation of directorate hiring as well as onboarding of personnel to the directorate
    • Managing, monitoring, and tracking action item taskings, including responding to task inquiries, monitoring suspense dates, and reviewing responses for correctness in the AF TMT.
    • Engaging members and external stakeholders on travel-related items, including processing, tracking, and distributing travel arrangements and DTS orders as well as processing travel vouchers in DTS.
    • Coordinate with all other directorate level personnel as appropriate.
    • Receiving and distributing mail and managing email correspondence.
    • Managing, organizing, and ordering office supplies, and any other funding requests as needed.
    • Handles confidential and classified (Secret/TS-SCI) information, correspondence, and communications.
    • Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties list above and as coordinated with the COR.

    Qualifications:

    Active Secret clearance

    • A minimum of 10 years of experience with supporting Senior DoD officials, Senior Executive Services, and/or General/Flag Officers.
    • Master's degree in any discipline.
