About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Junior Partner with a strong background in Fund Formation to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in fund formation and complementary experience in one or more of the following areas: equity finance, commercial agreements, or general M&A. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sophisticated legal counsel and representation to clients in fund formation matters.
- Assist with structuring, negotiating, and drafting fund documentation and related agreements.
- Offer guidance on equity finance, commercial agreements, and/or M&A transactions to enhance client service offerings.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic solutions to achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with attorneys across the firm’s practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
- Actively participate in business development and client relationship management initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Bar in at least one of the states where the firm has an office, or the ability to waive in.
- 6+ years of experience in fund formation, preferably in a large law firm or reputable boutique practice.
- (Nice to have) Experience in equity finance, commercial agreements, or M&A is highly desirable.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex legal matters and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in contributing to the growth of the firm.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
