You will advocate for clients, advise them on the best course of action, and implement their legal support plan. Responsibilities: • Prepare for and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration hearings • Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions • Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs • Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels • Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses • Some Travel Required Qualifications: • Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry • Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations • Able to work independently while handling multiple files • Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills • Four-year bachelor’s degree and successful completion of law school from an accredited law school Compensation: $175,000 - $200,000 yearly
