Responsibilities: • Plan and execute audits and review procedures for governmental and non-profit clients, ensuring accurate financial statement preparation. • Collaborate directly with Partners and Managers to address client and engagement management issues effectively. • Establish clear and concise communication with clients' internal accounting and auditing departments to ensure exceptional service provision. • Strengthen existing client relationships and identify opportunities for new business development. • Provide guidance and mentorship to staff accountants to cultivate a collaborative and educational work environment. • Conducting audits and review procedures for a diverse client base • Collaborating with Partners and Managers to strengthen client relationships and explore new business opportunities Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit within public accounting, or a combination of governmental public accounting and review/compilation of GAAP financial statements. • Strong understanding of governmental accounting and auditing standards. • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively with a high degree of accuracy. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Willingness to travel using a personal vehicle for work at client offices, meetings, or seminars, including frequent daily travel and occasional overnight stays.
