    Senior BAS System Programmer - Commercial HVAC Company - Base Salary to 50.00/hour - Dallas, TX

    • Our client maintains world-class expertise in Building Automation and Control Networks (BACnet) systems. System capabilities include controlling indoor climate, energy savings via enterprise scheduling/optimization, trending, centralized control, customized energy analytics, energy reporting, central plant optimization and remote monitoring/alarming. As a company they provide a number of services to their clients such as, preventative maintenance, equipment repair, equipment replacement and installation, pneumatic control systems and VFD sales and installation.
    • Currently they are looking for Senior BAS System Programmer to join their team as they are one of the large independent controls companies in the state of Texas and have installed BAS control systems in commercial office buildings, schools, hospitals, colleges and government buildings.

    Responsibilities:

    • BAS control system programming
    • Red-line drawings for as-built creation
    • BAS graphic / animation integration
    • Controller programming/configuring/networking
    • Test & balance commissioning/trouble-shooting
    • Training end users to operate system
    • Creation of system graphics, setup of trends, and customization of user interfaces
    • Programming the system to meet the sequence of operations and proper functionality.
    • IP communications setup and coordination
    • Assistance with test and balance
    • Communication with project management, subcontractors, design team, and sales representatives
    • Professional representation of the brand and company reputation
    • Assurance of customer satisfaction, through the delivery of high-quality finished work
    • Provide training and assistance to customers and other people in the company.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ year’ experience in BAS Control System programing
    • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
    • Experience with MEP plan interpretation and application
    • Experience with drawings and or computer graphics

    Compensation:

    • Base salary up to 50.00/hour
    • Eligibility for Overtime pay
