Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Senior Bookkeeper to join our team in a part time role. In this role, you will work in the Accounting department to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the Non-Profit Organizations compliance with all legal requirements and aid in the smooth functioning of 3 Non-Profit Organizations.
Responsibilities
Enter financial data and transactions
Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
Maintaining General Ledger for 3 companies
Creating and directing journal entries for 3 companies
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Payroll, Bank Reconciliation
Work with Accountants/Consultants, Treasurer, President & CEO
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
Previous experience of at least 4 years as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Fund EZ, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and basic accounting systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills, ability to function in a fast paced environment
