Direct-hire opportunity for Business Analyst role in Cincinnati.  The Business Analyst oversees project management, analysis, testing, system maintenance, and user training for applications within their assigned areas. They are responsible for identifying, defining, and implementing key business and IT initiatives. Need to Know:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• Type of Employment: Hybrid/work from home 2 days per week
• Pay: $105K-$120K

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage software development or integration projects.
• Work with team members and departments to gather and clarify project requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical plans and solutions.
• Act as the go-between for business teams and IT throughout projects.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
• Create project plans, timelines, and task assignments.
• Review and recommend improvements for existing applications and systems.
• Handle change requests and troubleshoot post-implementation issues.
• Provide training, support, and mentorship to employees and team members.

Testing & Analysis:

• Run reports and create SQL queries to analyze data.
• Develop and execute test plans to evaluate software and system changes.
• Lead user acceptance testing and document any issues or improvements needed.
• Identify and address process or software problems.
• Support efforts to improve IT and business processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience with large software implementations and working with external vendors.
• Familiarity with project methodologies like Agile or Waterfall; Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
