GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst / Team Lead with project management experience. Individual must be able to schedule, manage a team, and contract deliverables. Must have a familiarity with markdown language and proficiency in GitLab. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the projects, coordinating tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep understanding of application development processes.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner and respond quickly to requests.
- Must respond to customer and client needs in a timely manner and ensuring all needs/requests are met.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and milestones.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Manage project risks and dependencies, proactively addressing issues to ensure timely project delivery.
- Ensure all contractual deliverables are updated and submitted on-time with information required.
- Create necessary documentation required by upper management to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and/or technical documents needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members, ensuring clear understanding of project requirements and progress.
- Review and analyze system specifications.
- Improve documentation.
- Collaborate with developers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Implement IT strategies that deliver functionalities on schedule.
- Help with Salesforce tickets and create GitLab issues.
- Interpret the stakeholders' business goals into specific deliverables.
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation documentations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Organize the project to enable development teams to deliver working software faster using Agile methodology.
- Identify and prioritize the project's functional/technical needs and requirements.
- Effectively resolve customer inquiries in a considerate and timely manner.
- Manage Information Systems support requests from staff and users in Salesforce support ticketing system.
- Prioritize incoming requests while identifying trends in customer issues and feedback to the flag for the rest of the team.
DevOps Tools Experience:
- Experience with DevOps Tools (e.g. GitLab)
- Utilize DevOps tools for version control, code collaboration, and project management.
- Manage project repositories, branches, and merge requests within GitLab/DevOps tool.
- Facilitate code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
REQUIRED
- Proven experience 6-8 years as a Senior Project Coordinator/Project Manager/ and/or junior project manager, preferably in development projects.
- Proficiency in markdown language (e.g., Markdown, AsciiDoc) for documentation and communication purposes.
- Experience with GitLab or similar version control systems.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., Apex, JavaScript).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (Not required, but preferred).
