Job Summary: As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring their safety and comfort. You will work closely with individuals of varying ages and needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Assist clients with mobility and transferring to and from beds, wheelchairs, or other equipment.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Offer companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.
Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors.
Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical appointments.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold the dignity of each client.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is required.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
