Commercial Relationship Manager
About the Role:
Drive business growth by acquiring and managing relationships with mid-sized companies ($10M - $50M in annual revenue). You'll act as a trusted advisor, providing tailored financial solutions across commercial lending, treasury management, merchant services, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries and segments.
- Build strong relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and potential clients.
- Leverage your expertise to understand client needs and present comprehensive financial solutions.
- Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and deepen relationships with existing clients, expanding product utilization.
- Serve as a single point of contact, coordinating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
- Negotiate deal terms and pricing, ensuring profitability and sound risk management.
- Portfolio Management:
- Monitor portfolio performance, analyze client profitability, and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with credit and portfolio management teams to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitive offerings.
- Expert Consultation:
- Provide expert guidance on financial products and services.
- Conduct client and employee training sessions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in commercial banking or business development.
- Strong understanding of commercial credit, including complex C&I lending.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional credit analysis and sales skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
