Senior Controller / VP Finance – Your Daily Impact

As the head of Finance for the Firm, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Firm's growth, efficiency, and profitability across multiple offices.

• Develop and execute the firm's financial strategy: Build Firm financial KPI and cashflow dashboard. Establish financial goals, identifying KPIs and developing actionable strategies to achieve them
• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting: Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, and forecasting future financial and cash performance
• Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs): Monitor the Firm's performance against strategic goals (financial and operational)
• Improve operational efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, creating systems and writing the SOPs with the overarching goal to reduce costs and improve revenue and profitability
• Foster innovation: Support and lead innovation initiatives (ie: adoption of new technologies, alternative fee arrangements, and innovative service delivery models)
• Strategic planning: Working closely with managing partner and partner group to align strategic goals and ensure ongoing effective execution

Your immediate success is a result of the implementation of financial reporting and KPIs including enhanced budgeting, cash flow forecasting and enhanced reporting on the Firm’s financial performance that can lead to advancing business decisions.

Long-term success looks like streamlined Firm operations, improved SOPs and ongoing collaboration and recommendations with the Partner group about Firm strategy and operations.

Senior Controller / VP Finance – Required Skills, Prior Experience and Motivations

You:

• Have prior experience in a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Senior Controller, VP Finance or related
• Understand business needs and how business decisions impact the company financials
• Have evaluated, documented and implemented financial reporting dashboards, cash flow analysis and KPIs
• Are experienced with evaluating operations and writing SOPs
• Have prior experience working in professional services environment (may include a billable hour environment or service environment ie: legal, accounting, architecture, consulting)
• Are very proficient with PC and IT including KPI dashboard tools (PowerBI, Tableau, MS Excel advanced)
  

Senior Controller / VP Finance – For You

Compensation $160,000++ base salary plus additional bonuses and incentives for contributing to Firm growth.

You will work in the office in Santa Rosa, California with the team and support several offices.
