    We are currently seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our growing accounting team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing the general accounting and financial processes of our company to ensure efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness. This includes performing financial transactions and posting them to the general ledger, preparing tax documents, updating expense files. You will also provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to support their professional development and enhance team performance.

    Responsibilities:

    Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions

    Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information

    Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

    Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries

    Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents

    Complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors

    Secure financial information by completing database backups

    Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential

    Coach/mentor junior level accountants

    Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar major

    5 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance

    Mastery of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

    Expertise with the foundational and advanced aspects of accounting with experience applying this knowledge effectively in complex scenarios

    Professional leadership and verbal/written communication skills

    Preferred Education/Certifications:

    Master’s degree in Accounting or MBA preferred

    Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
